Dracula isn’t a novel. It’s the heavily redacted after-action report of genuine events that took place in 1894, when British Intelligence attempted to recruit a vampire. That operation became Operation Edom; in the present day, Edom’s still around, trying to use vampires to win the War on Terror.
Now, the player characters are about to obtain a letter from Van Helsing to the director of the hospital where his son died, a letter that hints at failed attempt to destroy an ancient vampire. The clues in that century-old letter will lead the Agents to cross paths with modern-day minions of Dracula...
Night’s Black Agents, adapts the GUMSHOE engine to the propulsive paranoia of the spy thriller genre: not just James Bond, but also and especially films like Ronin and the Bour ne trilogy. You build agents worthy of such films; tough, resourceful, clever, deadly — in a word, badass. Then you send them to kill vampires.
Your host is Peter Nix. Suggested age range is Teen 13+. No experience required; will teach rules to new players. Maximum number of players is 5.
